The Christmas season is filled with lights shining against a dark background: whether on the tree, around your roof, or in the crisp night sky! Each bulb, each pinprick of stellar light calls out each of us to shine with them against the dark backdrop of our surroundings. That is the call to you this Advent season, the call repeated in Philippians 2 for us to take that next step in following Christ, by becoming more like Him in mindset and overflowing actions of sacrificial love.
