Our own Chris & Effie Swanson are pursuing adoption, and we couldn't be happier!  Tallgrass firmly believes that adoption is near and dear to God's heart, so we want to help support adoptions wherever we can, especially with Tallgrassians!

Their total adoption expenses will likely range from $30,000-$35,000, so we have a clear opportunity to help support their adoption financially.

The Swansons have been approved for a matching grant from Lifesong for Orphans for up to $3,000 (meaning if they raise $3,000, they'll receive an additional $3,000 to go toward adoption expenses).  We want to help them reach this goal!  Tax-deductible donations can be made two ways:

1. ONLINE: You can also give online at https://secure.lifesong.org/give/donate. Select "Please direct my donation to:" and choose "Adoption". Then choose "I'd like to give to:" and select “Adoptive Family.” Complete the online form and fill in “Family Account Number, 7887” and “Family Name, Swanson” Fields.
2. MAIL IN CHECK: Please make any donation checks payable to “Lifesong for Orphans.” In the memo, note “family account number, 7887” and “family name, Swanson” to ensure it goes to the correct account. Please mail to "Lifesong for Orphans, PO Box 40, Gridley, IL 61744."

Their goal for this fundraising is November 1, 2018.
