What are you looking for? We're all searching for something. Comfort, pleasure, meaning, acceptance, hope -- all of these can be sought directly, but often our expectations don't match up exactly with our experience. This is also true when we come to Jesus. What we think we're looking for is most often disrupted by what He has in mind. And this is a profoundly good thing! In this teaching, we look at how our stories play into our expectations and understandings of Jesus and what he came to do. We look at his atoning work from multiple different angles to discover the greater mosaic he's trying to get us to see and experience.
