The topic for the next Tallgrass Church book discussion is hell! We're reading "Four Views on Hell: Second Edition" and discussing over four Tuesday brown bag lunches, July 16 and 23, August 13 and 20, from 11:45am to 1:15pm.

The cover picture for this book discussion is entitled "Satan" and was illustrated by Gustave Doré (1832-1883). Gustave Doré's illustrations and Dante's Divine Comedy (1320) have become so intimately connected that even today, nearly 150 years after their initial publication, the artist's rendering of the poet's text still determines our vision of the Commedia. Furthermore, Dante's Divine Comedy has greatly shaped the view of hell many people have in their mind.

But what's the view of hell that's informed by the Bible? That's the question for our book discussion. Is answering this question the next most important question in your journey of faith? Maybe not. But can we have a great time together studying what the Bible teaches on an often overlooked topic? Hell yes!
