3. Bible, pen or pencil, and something to take notes on
4. A neighbor and/or friend!

We'll be jumping into the book of Philippians together for the next several weeks!

Tallgrass is excited to kick off a special 21 Days of Prayer and Fasting in partnership with many other churches in our city August 31 - September 20. We’re asking God to move in our city by focusing our prayers especially for Tallgrass groups and ministries this fall. Use the guide below to pray during these three weeks depending on the day of the week. Join us! We also specifically encourage you to try incorporating some type of fasting. Your personal fast should present a level of challenge, but it is very important for you to know...

Sometimes running the race means choosing the best over the good. Every ounce matters. Every unhelpful weight or hindrance must be thrown off. Check out Tallgrass's own Dilan Oglesby as he shares some of his recent story about running the race of life with endurance - through trips and triumphs!

Blessing Boxes just went mobile! Check out Stephanie Chitwood's newest project to make Blessing Bags: on-hand sacks filled with essential food and supplies to help a person in need. Tallgrass Church, in partnership with Thrivent Financial, have contributed to make our first batch of 24 bags to help Tallgrassians respond to practical neighboring opportunities in the moment. Great idea!

We were shocked and grieved to learn of Josh Yarrow's death this last week. Josh, one of Tallgrass' few college students!, died last Tuesday after a climbing fall at Glacier National Park. Josh loved the wild outdoors, played a mean banjo, smiled a ton, and loved Jesus. He also literally ripped Tallgrass' front door off last October! #greatmemories We miss him already. The celebration of life will be tomorrow 10am in Wichita.

Tallgrass has recently been highlighting creativity in our church body. This Sunday we were treated to Tallgrass' first worship dance choreographed by our own Emily Ruby and preformed by Kate Deaver, Summer Renberg, Charis Greeve, and Amber Johnson. The dance is set to the song Way Maker by Sinach. Check it out!
