You are invited! Caela Simmons Wood, Benjamin Hitzfeld, and Ben Deaver invite you to join First Congregational UCC, First Christian Church, and Tallgrass Community Church online for an MHK Good Friday Ecumenical Vigil!

Immersing ourselves in the difficult parts of Holy Week is one of the ways we stay faithful as we journey towards Easter together. People of all ages are invited to stop by between 12:00-3:00 p.m. for this Ecumenical Good Friday Vigil.

We will be reading the Gospel of Mark, chapters 1-15 to hear the story of Jesus's birth, life, ministry, and death (we'll save the final chapter for Easter!). We will also be receiving the gift of music from several talented musicians including Emily Strom from Tallgrass Church and Eric Brown from Manhattan Christian Fellowship.

It is a powerful experience to sit vigil on Good Friday as we contemplate the realities of human suffering, violence, and pain in our world. We hope you can join us.
